The Hot Springs Village Police Department inaugurated a Citizens Policy Academy in April 2014.

The Citizens Police Academy is a six-week program designed to give our residents a working knowledge of the Hot Springs Village Police Department.  The goal is to educate the public about the HSVPD and to increase the relationship between citizens and police officers.

Class 2024 will begin 5:00 pm-8:00 pm on Thursday, August 29th at the HSVPD Training Room, located at the Coronado Center (Room 5) and will be every Thursday until graduation, October 3rd, 2024. Deadline to apply is August 15th, 2024.
